Eight Weeks

Posting these from a month ago, before I get too far behind again. :)

At Cady's two month appointment she had jumped up the growth chart. From one month to two, she went from 25 percentile in height/weight to 50 percentile weight and 87 percentile height. Those growth charts are just a little wacky.

A little photo dump off my camera - not the best quality, but I'm glad I have it close to capture fun stuff. 

So thankful that Clane loves Cady! He checks on her several times a day. I caught this peeking around the corner. Clane is the only one of our kids who doesn't really enjoy his picture being taken, I have to be sneaky. He was saying, "Oh, aren't you cute!"

Last Thursday was Crazy Hair Day for Homecoming Week - crazy indeed!

Clane loves Cady!! (thank God!)  He calls her "Baby Sister" or "Baby Cady" and asks where she is if she's sleeping and we're not holding her. He's surprisingly gentle with her too. :)

There are parts of their personalities that are very, very different from each other.

And that's okay, I think it makes their friendship even more fun to watch.  :)

Wordy Wednesday

After snapping this picture of a few of my boys on the couch the other day, I remembered a similar shot from a few years ago. Here two year old Callum holds his baby brother Clane.

 

 

And here two year old Cooper holds his baby brother Callum. 

 

This is why I take pictures. It can take you right back to the day the photo was shot. I remember that afternoon, Cooper just woken up from his nap, asking to cuddle with his brother.

And, on another note, I guess we know who Clane is going to look like when he gets bigger.  :)

I just remembered I had done this before, so I looked back to find one of Clane with a similar look on his face.  Clane definately has more hair than his siblings did (although this picture doesn't show it), but otherwise I think he fits in.  :)   I also found, while looking back in the blog that Callum was 15 pounds at two months, doubling his birth weight!  I knew he was a biggie.  Clane's not quite there, but soon will be if he keeps up his eating the way he does.  Love these babies!

 

Time is flying and he's getting bigger despite my whispers against it. I'd like Clane to stay tiny for just a little longer. Last baby nostalgia perhaps? In any case, he's not really listening. ;) But he's the sweetest little snuggler, starting to smile (haven't caught it on camera yet), and loved well.
