Joyfully Waiting!

Sunday marked the beginning of the Advent season. A time where we slow down and reflect on the expected arrival of Jesus. Woot Woot! Excited much? Well, yeah. We want our kidlets to be just as excited for Jesus as they are for that Santa dude. So we talk about the nativity story over and over and over. :) I wanted to do something each day to mark the countdown to Christmas (something more than what a lot of advent calendars do which is just give the kiddos a small treat or present each day). Thankfully, my mom was more on top of things than I was and gave us this devotional which is perfect for toddlers/preschoolers. (Nice score mom!) Short lesson, with corresponding bible verses, prayer and a project. Some projects are crafts, some just things to talk about, others are family outings/service projects.
