Yesterday Dan and I celebrated our 8th year of wedded bliss. I was simply excited to have a small date planned - thinking we'd go for a quick dinner somewhere or share some ice cream at the park - as we were actually leaving the kids for a couple hours (Cooper's first time with a babysitter - and yes we're aware he's 8 1/2 months). Dan, bless his heart, had more planned.
This man surprised me - big time! An amazing meal, amazing wine, in an amazing private sanctuary of a garden. Our friend Tony has an beautiful garden, These pictures do not do this special space justice. Everywhere you look is peaceful eye candy. The moment we walked through the cute little red gate my blood pressure dropped and I was in another world.Anyway between the two of them, there was tasty appetizers, a catered meal and quiet alone time. Dan pulled strings, worked his magic, and made it possible. But obviously couldn't happen without Tony - THANK YOU!!!
