Visit to Santa - Take One.

Today we went to the local Festival of Trees, benefiting Habitat for Humanity. We enjoyed looking at the very creatively decorated trees and, as you can see, Charlotte really liked the John Deere tree.

The festival also had a Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Char rushed up to them upon their offer of a candy cane.

Unfortunately, her joy didn't last long once she realized she was supposed to sit on this strange guy's lap. Nope, not having it.

But she did get lots of compliments on her cute outfit. :)

I tried to get a picture of her at home, with our tree. As you can see, it wasn't her day to pose, we'll try again later.
